The FDA has been looking for a generic name for Viagra. After careful consideration by a team of government experts, it recently announced that it has settled on the generic name of Mycoxafloppin. Also considered were Mycoxafailin, Mydixadrupin, Mydixarizin, Dixafix, and of course, Ibepokin.

I'm listening to VU's second album.  If you think Metal, Thrash, Punk, or Rap is hardcore, check this one out: VELVET UNDERGROUND White Light / White Heat

After that VU album, I needed something sweet, so I chose the perfect collection of any singer's hits:
SARAH VAUGHAN's GOLDEN HITS

It's the perfect album for Autumn, for being alone, or for falling in love.  Yeh, I get "misty" listening to any of Sarah's interpretations... they just get better, even more so than "Autumn In New York" and her definitive version... chalk it up to old-fart syndrome, but it's still the greatest "hits" collection I've yet heard, perfect for dancing to, fireside chats, and family and friends.  Halloween party music?  A Thanksgiving selection par excellence !!   TeddyR
If you're at all interested in the single most esoteric of the GREAT JAZZ singers, my own favorite, SARAH VAUGHAN, this is the place to start.  Do I love this record?  "Moonlight In Vermont?"  Smile Smile Smile

Once again, I'm again listening to CAPTAIN BEEFHEART and HIS MAGIC BAND's Strictly Personal:

Beatle bones and smokin' Stones
The dry sands fall
The strawberry mouth; strawberry moth; strawberry caterpillar
Strawberry butterfly; strawberry fields
The winged eel slither on the heels of today's children
Strawberry feels forever

The Ramshackle Daddies. Rockabilly from the UK, twang without the psycho.

Poodle Hat by Weird Al Yankovic.

I've been in an odd funk.  Good guy though.

Hot Rod Daddy by The Rhythmatics.  More rockabilly, with a very definite "I wish we were The Stray Cats!" feel.
