Yeah, I'll burn out if I listen to more than a month of it.

Today:  The Christmas Song by Nat King Cole...

And Wonderland of Christmas by Andre Kostelanetz and His Orchestra from 1972; halfway between big band and Lawrence Welk.

For the past week or so, now, I've been getting into Pearl Jam unplugged.  For example:

Also, the live, acoustic version of Yellow Ledbetter is incredible:

Celtic Woman - A Christmas Celebration.  Very likely my favorite new Christmas album this year.  The absolutely perfect rendition of "O Holy Night" alone is worth the whole album.

I've been listening to Pink Floyd a lot lately.  I've had a few of their albums for several years now but I never really listened to 'em much.  I still think Dark Side of the Moon is slightly overrated, but it's very good record.

I've also been enjoying The Church and Brian Eno.  I ordered a CD of Fish Rising by Steve Hillage, and John Lennon's Plastic Ono Band (Best Buy are selling the MFSL gold CD online for $3.99.  It's one of the least valuable gold CDs around but I figure I could get 10 bucks for it at least).

I like Neil.   Smile
Granted I'm no where near his intended audience though.
I like NEIL too, but not those Christmas album thingees.
Now listening to:
ROBERT SHAW CHAMBER SINGERS Songs of Angels

This one too, but the cover of mine is slightly different, and I found it in the bargain bin years ago; it's superb:

Ulthar, I wouldn't have pegged you as a Pearl Jam fan.  Karma for that, friend.

My mom's a huge June Christy fan.  I'm going to get her to burn some of her stuff off for me at some point.

As for what I'm listening to at the moment:

Thanks.   Smile

My musical taste is really all over the map.  I like, and routinely listen to, just about everything, with the exception of rap/hip hop and most everything in the 'pop' genre.  I've been known to listen to Corelli or Vivaldi in the same sitting with Iron Maiden or Megadeth.   BounceGiggle

Music to me is visceral.  It gets inside and moves somehow.
