You should definitely check out The Gilded Palace of Sin (available in a two-fer with Burrito Deluxe, their 2nd album of only two with GRAM PARSONS)... Palace is awesome and I love Burrito too.

Terrible movie - great soundtrack with Ry Cooder, Tom Waits, Roy Orbison (I believe it was his final single), Los Lobos, etc.

It's been on my want list for a long time; I love PARLIAMENT but this is the only FUNKADELIC I knew at all.  I forgot about the goofy sound effects (all of which I have multiple times on Halloween sound effects records! )

Jingle Bell Jazz Various Artists like DEXTER GORDON QUARTET, CARMEN McRAE, MILES DAVIS, LIONEL HAMPTON, DAVE BRUBECK QUARTET, DUKE ELLINGTON...ARTHUR BLYTHE's classic arrangement of "The Christmas Song" and McCOY TYNER's sublime "I'll Be Home For Christmas" make this one essential for the Jazz Christmas collector... really great sh!t if you like that Christmas JAZZ thing.
