I just posted movie review #100, my favorite film of all time Jaws

Also with The Hoff in the news recently, I was inspired to take on a few Baywatch episodes.   First one featured, Thin Or Die.  A tale of love, diet pills and a golden retriever???

The fun thing about "Jaws" is that you can just heap on the praise.  It is a beautifully done film.  Of course, it loosely fits as a "monster movie" so I have a soft spot for it to start.  However, the story is definitely carried along by the human interaction.  Quint talking about the ship he was on being torpedoed and then the survivors becoming chum for the sharks was a dark part of the film.  You got the idea why he was detached and also why he spent a lifetime learning how to hunt for sharks.

Ha!  A "It's BACON!" reference in the "Baywatch" review.  On the other hand, why is it that the lost pet or lost child's owner or parent always turns up in the end?

Thanx!  I was actually of thinking of adding "Can I Have You Both" as a quote.

I love Baywatch for that reason.  There is always a nice closure to the episode and the plots are of a B-Movie vein.  Love how lifeguards can foil the evil doers in the world.
