The box set of the "Puppet Master" films has been out of print for a while.  While checking the Full Moon Direct website for another thread, I noted that they had the set available from a "previously undiscovered batch."

It is also available off of Amazon.com for $99.99 +$2.59 shipping from "FULLMOONFEATURES."  Apparently, they are the seller name of Full Moon Direct on Amazon.  So, if you are going to pick it up, clicking through via a site and getting it off of Amazon.com might be the way to go.

On Amazon.com search for "Puppet Master Boxset" under DVD.

(This is not to encourage anyone that they must go through Badmovies.org - I would suggest other sites, such as B-Movie Central, Shadows, Scifilm, or whoever you wish to support.)

I went ahead and ordered this one. A hundred bucks is a lot, but considering what they are going for elsewhere, it ain't too shabby of a deal. Plus, I had a couple gift certificates earned through my associate links that I used to help bring the price down.

Of course, once the wife finds out...I'm dead. Buggedout TeddyR

The FDA has been looking for a generic name for Viagra. After careful consideration by a team of government experts, it recently announced that it has settled on the generic name of Mycoxafloppin. Also considered were Mycoxafailin, Mydixadrupin, Mydixarizin, Dixafix, and of course, Ibepokin.

I thought the 1st one was a cool little B-movie, but the sequels made my head hurt.

A friend of mine has all of them on DVD but I don't know if he has the actual box set or just bought all of them individually.

Ooh...I own the boxset.

I like all of the movies in the set except Retro.

I disagree.  The third installment was probably my favorite, but they were all pretty decent, albeit formulaic, up to and including Final Chapter (5).  However, they should have stopped there.  Haha.  I found Curse of the Puppet Master and Retro Puppet Master to be so bad (in a painful way) that I stopped following the series.

Have I missed anything worthwhile?

OK, this one will either get me praised or get stuff thrown at me...I have never seen a single one of these movies. And yes, I just shelled out mucho dinero for the box set. I am either committed to bad movies or I need to be committed. TeddyR

What are you afraid of? It's only rock n' roll.
