PZ Myers is trying to identify a movie in which monsters or aliens that look like octopus-men are crucifying their victims.  He's got a picture, but doesn't know the source.  Link below, if anyone's got ideas.

That has got to be from some sort of weird Japanese show along the lines of Ultraman (more like Kamen Rider).  However, I could not tell you which.  I have certainly never seen it before.

Ultraman Ace has a two-part episode where five of the Ultras are crucified by the aliens the Yarpool, but the photos from that episode don't look like the weird creature in this photo, and those aren't Ultras on the crosses.

Ultraman Ace, #13 "Shikei! Urutora Go-Kyohdai" and #14 "Ginga Ni Chitta Itsusu No Hoshi"

Using Google image search has been. . . interesting.

Haven't found any matches though.  Could it be one of the Power Ranger shows?  I keep seeing links to those when I do a straight search on "octopus monster", that and something about the Beastie Boys.   Question
