radioactive

I've bought a number of these bootleg reissues of very rare 70's hard rock and pyschedelic music cd's.

They are 10 dollars or less near me, for some reason.  They are not legitimate re releases , have no liner notes, and are often taken from records.  that said, if you get something weird  movies you will probably find alot to like here. Some of it is incredible.

grodeck whipperjenny- this was a band that was a backing band for james brown on some album he did.  it sounds like a funky version of hair with weird female vocals.  the songs  sound weird at first but grow on you

Happy Dragons band-  sort of tenacious D type joke rock  with insane analogue synthesizers and cheap production.

Timber Creek-  sort of grateful dead meets dukes of hazzard.

trees-  bizarre christian commune group doing strange songs about god.

Wabash resurection-  an even crazier version of Timbercreek.  makes it's own country rock rule as it goes along.

C.O.B.-  amazing british folk group with spiritual sort of themes.

If yuo can get them cheap i'd recommend them.  also, stalk -forest group in an early incarnation of BOC

thanks for the link.  I am an avid record collector and will see if there is anything they have worth adding to my collection.

Here  are the best and some of the few reviews that exist for many of these titles.  Certain of them, such as Morgen, HP lovecraft, and Fraction's Moonblood LP are well kinown classics, while others are quite obscure.

the main factor uniting them is they fetch very high pricse on ebay.  though that is not always a definate indicator of a records quality.
