WARNING, SPOILERS

Watched this one recently.  A motorcycle gang spends their days riding free until being led to a strange monastery by the spiritual member of the group.  After being fed bread and wine by the monks, the bikers all fall asleep.  The monks then take one of the girls and turn her into the flame dancing, undulating, naked bride of Satan.  Some of the bikers wake up and rescue her after beating up the monks.

There is a bit of weird black magic witchery going on in the previous scene, like a sacrificed black cat and melting wax effigy.  All of that works pretty well (along with the woman dancing topless).

After the encounter with the Satanists, things go wrong for the gang.  The girl leaves vampire bite marks on her biker lover's neck and members are killed at night, either torn apart or killed and then thrown onto the raging bonfire that the gang builds each evening.  The bikers finally create a bonfire and wait for the evil to manifest.  The pair of werewolves are then surrounded by torch-bearing bikers.  One escapes on a motorcycle and is chased down.

We do not see very much of the two werewolves until the last ten minutes.  What you see a lot of is people riding bikes and men kissing each other (those "damn I love you, my biker brother" kisses).  The end of the film is one of those artsy "wow" things.  I will admit that the film takes some liberties, but tries to make it all fit together in the end.  From what I saw, there is a rhyme and reason to who is killed.  They were the bikers who were not marked with black ash by the monks.

An uproariously funny part is when the gang rides into a mysterious fog bank that teleports them into the desert.  Watch the left side of the screen as they ride toward the sudden fog.  You will see the fog machine in plain view.

Lesson learned:
Having lots of sex will keep a guy awake all night, just like drinking a pot of strong coffee.
Hawaiian Punch is a mixture of cat's blood and water.
A burning car can be used as a field expedient crematorium.
Rayon is made from werewolf fur.

I posted some comments on this awhile back.  It was nice to see Billy Gray (clean-cut teenager "Bud" from the old Father Knows Best TV series) as a biker.

I should try and watch this one again, though I might try to do it in installments. It was a real chore for me to get through the whole thing in one sitting. The only thing that kept me awake were the naked chicks.

The FDA has been looking for a generic name for Viagra. After careful consideration by a team of government experts, it recently announced that it has settled on the generic name of Mycoxafloppin. Also considered were Mycoxafailin, Mydixadrupin, Mydixarizin, Dixafix, and of course, Ibepokin.

I always spot this DVD for sale in the horror section at the local Best Buy, but I never have gotten around to picking it up.

It looks hilarious, more than likely unintentionally of course.

BTW, I've heard that they had to make some cuts for the R rating and that the DVD isn't the full uncut version as fans had hoped.  Is that true?
