Yes...quiver in fear with me folks...I'm not exactly sure who asked for this...maybe people wanting a sequel to Spice World...or perhaps people thinking the p***ycat Dolls weren't lousy enough...either way its true...check out the link below...

I'm reasonably sure this is one of the signs of the Apocalypse.

The FDA has been looking for a generic name for Viagra. After careful consideration by a team of government experts, it recently announced that it has settled on the generic name of Mycoxafloppin. Also considered were Mycoxafailin, Mydixadrupin, Mydixarizin, Dixafix, and of course, Ibepokin.

it's been 10 years since 1996 when they first started.  I doubt they will do well.  Most of their original fans have grown up by now.

If this isn't a sign of the apocalypse, it's a sign for me to buy a decent pair of earplugs and a baseball bat to smash anything that plays their crap.

While they annoyed the living hell out of me back in the 90's, I do have to admit that I thought that the chick who was Baby Spice was very attractive.  She still is pretty. She was on Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson near the start of this year singing something off a new solo album she's done.

The woman can actually sing very well.

Musically I could care less.  But personality-wise, I'd vote the Spice Girls over any other pop band.  They are sassy and funny.  But that said, I can bet their reunion will be met with virtually no fanfare or critical acclaim...  If history has taught us anything, you cannot be a teen idol and maintain any shred of artistic integrity.  Ladies, welcome to the world of the Cory's.  TeddyR

Too many people I know are sad they aren't coming here, but to Sydney instead.  A few are considering making the trip for the show.  Some are thinking about it for laughs.

I worry about the serious ones.

I'm ashamed to admit I own their first album and I like it...purely from a musical standpoint, their first album "Spice" is very well constructed pop music. there's fairly complex harmonies and chord changes in most of the songs, and a good variety of different styles. Their second album "Spiceworld" is nowhere near as good and sounds like it was rushed out to make more £££, although the single "Stop" is a prime slice of 60's Motown-esque pop which could almost have been penned by Burt Bacharach. Image-wise, they're too contrived...and only 7 yr old girls would have an excuse to actually see them live...definitley no need for a re union

I'm proud to say I can not name a single song they sung, or would I recognize then if I heard them.

Now THAT'S truly impressive.  You couldn't get away from them in the mid 90's. Trust me, I tried.

A friend of mine who was a massive death metal fan had a little sister who was really into the Spice Girls during their popularity peak.  He would always have death metal blasting out of his room and she would always have Spice Girls blasting out of hers. Too funny.  Someone needs to combine the two.  Drink

I traveled pretty much non stop internationally for 20+ years and the 90's was part of it, those many years are almost an popular music void for me since I was always working and gone I have very little time for music. I might have heard them but I wouldn't know one of their songs if I heard it. I'm pretty much old classic rock from the mid 60's to the early 80's
