MANIAC COP 2 was a great action film as well, yet it is barley ever given a footnote anywhere...very cool and nonstop action. The scene in the convience store is wild!!!! As is the bus chase! Great performances all around as well!

Which makes it all the sadder to know that the first and third movies have DVD releases but not the second! Booooourns.

Well not in R1 but you can get Manic Cop 1 and 2 from Europe for 7.99 euros ($10.80)

http://boutique.dvdmoinscher.com/product_info.php?products_id=3723

Looks like shipping to the US is about 6 euros ($8)

I don't hear of  people  hating  these movies, just most have never heard of them:

Parents with Randy Quaid, where the kid finds out what the "leftovers" his folks are feeding him are.

Parents, was one of those movies that gets burned into your brain at a young age. one day i'll get around to watching it again. Ravenous was another underrated cannibal comedy.

I'm still not entirely convinced that Parents doesn't deserve it's obscure status, I have to agree that Ravenous is one of those too often overlooked gems that deserves a larger audience. It's probably the only context in which I can stomach David Arquette... no pun intended.  Wink

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 1
Cannibal The Musical
Dumb and Dumber (I know a few people who hate it.)
The Cable Guy (VERY Underrated.  Genius flick.  Everybody hates it.)
Undercover Brother
Ed Wood (I think I'm the only person I  know who's seen it.)
Man on the Moon (That Andy Kaufman movie with Jim Carrey.)

You are not alone!  I love ED WOOD.  One of the few Tim Burton's that I really love

Ed Wood took forever to get to dvd.  Soon as it got released I bought it just in case they like, recalled it or something.

Johnny Depp was great, and Landau rocked it as Bela.

Another one here for the Ed Wood fans. It's a movie that's deceptively perfect for Tim Burton because despite it's lack of big freaky set pieces and nightmarish characters, Ed's childlike enthusiasm and undying optimism make him the perfect hero for a Tim Burton movie. The only problem I had with it was that after watching it I couldn't look at an Ed Wood movie without thinking about the man grinning behind the camera in his pink angora sweater and living his dream. You can't watch a movie made by a guy like that and say it's the worst movie ever made! You just can't!

As such, let's hope that Tim Burton doesn't try to do the same for any other crap movie directors like Buchanan, Charles Band or the Polonias, otherwise bad movie reviewers will be out of a job...  Wink

Well, I saw it in its theatrical run, but only once.  Fortunately, I've looked at the thing a few times since, and... it only gets better.  Really, there are two superior TIM BURTON films, ED WOOD and EDWARD SCISSORHANDS.

I think I agree, too, that these films are underrated, particularly on those last two...

I loved Ed Wood as well.  I didn't think Jeffrey Jones did a good jobs as Criswell.  I saw bits and pieces of Man on the Moon on my flight to Japan about 5 years ago (I feel asleep during parts of the film)

The Cable guy was ok, it wasn't bad, but wasn't good either.  I don't think I could watch it again though.

I don't agree regarding JEFFREY JONES, who does not "re-create" CRISWELL, certainly, but does kind of humanize and explain this most artificial of pop culture turds...  BounceGiggle

Mars Attacks- I'm sorry, but I love it.  Great flick.

I never got to see it in theaters.  I was 10 when that and Clerks came out, and nobody would take me to see them.

Okay Hallows, now I won't be able to picture "the Criz" without imagining his head as one of those rubber dog dumps that people hide their keys under. Hahaha!
