Try to come up with a funny caption to go with this picture of Ming talking to his daughter Aura.

Well, I don't care what Tim Curry's parents let him do!  No daughter of mine is going to prance around town painted up like some two-bit jezebel!  Now wash your face!

You know, some time ago I actually thought about creating a board just for "create a caption" threads.  Never did it though - perhaps we should?

Of course, I also tried to get one of the SMF (our forum software) developers interested in making a mod for a weekly trivia quiz (including keeping track of high scores and such), but that never happened either.

You should definitely create a "create a caption" board!
I'd post on it for sure.

After all, that's what we do when we watch B-movies...we make hilarious comments and ad-lib what the characters might say.

A board like that here would be great!   Thumbup

THIS WAS MY 4000'th post!!!

I think a caption project would be an excellent mental exercise for us.  Like a picture of the day or something.  A routine workout!  And it might just be possible that in time the cleverest among us may begin to develop telekinesis or other impressive faculties.

On a side note there was a subversive movement a while back in NY called The Bubble Project.  The organizers had thousands of blank caption bubble stickers printed up and plastered them over ads and posters.  They returned and photographed the results.  Some of the better ones were published in a book called Talk Back: The Bubble Project.  You can also see a bunch on Ji Lee's website.  Very amusing.  Haha.

Andrew, feel free to edit in your affiliate tag to the Amazon link.  And then remove this invitation.  And the sentence before it.  And this one...
