Methinks I'm going to pawn my copy of Matango 'cause those fine Media Blasters folks are releasing a box set with the Tokyo Shock releases of Matango, Varan the Unbelievable and The Mysterians.  You can order it online for around 26 bucks or so.  It comes out August 21.

Wow, good news for people who were thinking about picking these up.  The price is going to be cheaper than buying two of them as they are individually available right now.

The only thing missing is the English dub of "Varan."  I was hoping that the DVD would include it, but no dice.  Classic Media is spoiling me - though the "Varan" DVD came out a good bit before Classic Media has started their excellent work.

I'm getting it! Then I can give away all my old Video Daikaiju DVD-Rs of those films! HOORAY! The best part is that the set is only going to be $15 or so! I love Media Blasters!  TeddyR

Damn! I actually bought all those individually. It took me forever to locate a copy of Varan. I shoulda just waited. In fact, I've noticed that a lot of titles put out by Media Blasters end up in those triple feature sets. Maybe I'll just stop buying their stuff until it hits a box set. Bluesad

The FDA has been looking for a generic name for Viagra. After careful consideration by a team of government experts, it recently announced that it has settled on the generic name of Mycoxafloppin. Also considered were Mycoxafailin, Mydixadrupin, Mydixarizin, Dixafix, and of course, Ibepokin.
