Wow, that's to much. This is wonderful ! ! ! Don't worry Dennis the taste will grow on you. It might be an aquired taste for those who picture cornbread differently.  TeddyR

Love the photos. There were great.  BounceGiggle

3 Karma points for Dennis. (over the next 24 hours)

Andrew, you going to just love it. You'll be dreaming about Cornbread with Blueberry (or cherry) yogurt before you know it.

How about you RCMerchant and Menard? With Dennis going beyond the call of duty and verification you have to try Cornbread with Blueberry Yogurt on top.

Poogie did you give it a try also?  Smile

I can't....I can't STAND yogurt! Or as I call it boogert. I'm not against trying new things...but yogurt...yikes! Not real big on blueberries either. We can them at Honee Bear Canning (my job).  Kinda wears thin after 20 odd years. They grow them all over the place up here. Cherries too. And asparagus.....yuk.  Bluesad

I'll have some more wings!  Smile

Poogie and I are a pair of nuts, we like to do nutty things together, been doing things together for the last 36 years, most of our families consider us to be slightly off center.
The chair was a Christmas present from my wife and daughter, it's a real piece of work, the right side armrest opens up, there is a cup holder for your favorite beverage, a receptacle for your remotes (TV, VCR, cable) and the chair controls. In addition to reclining, this chair has built in heat and massage functions, so when I'm home I'm one with the chair, it's a zen kind of thing.
RC, I want you to know that for a long time I felt pretty much the same about yogurt as you do, Look at what it is, milk with a bacteria in it that turns it into a semisolid dairy product, sounds a lot like spoiled milk to me, but I've found that by adding some fruit or other flavoring (chocolate or vanilla) it's really good. Yogurt with fruit is one of those rare things that tastes good and is good for you.
Now for the test results, I was really surprised to discover that blue berry yogurt on cornbread is quite tasty and would make a very nice desert, I apologise to all the cornbread lovers out there who I've offended with that statement, never the less it's true.

I'm from the South. Putting something fruity on my cornbread is about akin to whacking off my manhood.

Now, slice it in two (the cornbread you guttermind), slather both halves with butter or margarine, then place a few slices of cheese on them and melt it. Cheese and butter improve most anything; it's a heart attack waiting to happen, but you die with a smile on your face.

But it's full of active cultures!  You can feel the little yogurt dudes cruising through your innards, like those magic scrubbing bubbles you see in the commercials.

I didn't try the blueberries, don't really like them too much, so tried it with cherry yogurt........not to shabby. We've discovered another dessert to add to our "spare tires"...... BounceGiggle

I'm afraid i must concur. Cornbread may ONLY have 1 of 2 things on it. Butter or your left over chilli... But then i suppose it has butter on it also.  So Cornbread must have butter.

My dad used to eat cornbread like this:

* Crumble up several handfulls of cornbread into a tall drinking glass
* Pour enough buttermilk in the glass to cover the bread
* Eat with a spoon while dribbling large amounts of buttermilk over your shirtless chest

Eating this mixture in front of the kiddies is guaranteed to make them feel like they're about to lose their lunch.

Personally, I like cornbread mixed with black-eyed peas.

OMG my Dad eats if the same way and I though he was alone in his weirdness of that dish. I haven't seen him do it in yearsm but he ate it all the time when I was growing up.

By the way Poogie Karma points are heading your way for trying the weekend treat and helping with the photos.  Thumbup

I put this yogurt video on top of a cornbread video. What's neat is that you can play both video's at the same time.

I like cornbread with fruity yogurt on top. Blueberrys are in season.

Did you notice the two cornbread bakers had the same style counter top. Definately a different house, but the countertop was similiar with the white tiles.
