I got this variation of the famous Proust questionnaire in email. If anyone feels like five minutes worth of self-analysis, knock yourself out.


The Proust Questionnaire is a questionnaire about one's personality, first popularized by the responses given by the French writer Marcel Proust.

Your favorite virtue: Charity

Your favorite quality in a man: Empathy.

Your favorite quality in a woman: Kindness.

Your chief characteristic: I’m told I am peculiarly chameleonic.

What you appreciate the most in your friends: Loyalty

Your main fault: Self-doubt.

Your favourite occupation: Reading and writing.

Your idea of happiness: Joy in self-achievement.

Your idea of misery: Being wrongly viewed as responsible for some great misdeed.

Your favorite food and drink:  Sushi, salads, nachos, but above all dairy foods are my weakness! Honestly, I mostly drink water but chocolate milk is an occasional guilty pleasure.

Your favorite names: Julian, Emma, simple names.

What I hate the most: Willful and injurious ignorance.

World history characters I hate the most: Pol Pot, Chairman Mao, Oliver Cromwell, Tomás de Torquemada .

The military event I admire the most: The Allied victory in the Second World War.

The reform I admire the most: Free speech.

The natural talent I'd like to be gifted with: If not flight or invisibility on demand, then being a morning person.

How I wish to die: Fulfilled, painlessly, willingly.

What is your present state of mind: Kinetic.

For what fault have you most toleration? Excessive lust.
