Tammy Faye Bakker Messner dead at 65

Yes folk the queen of eye liner has passed on to the great cosmetic aisle in the sky, she was 65. She always came across more as a caricature than a real person the tabloids will miss her.

If you remember Bakker and her former husband Jim Bakker defrauded millions out of their following for personal use as well has building Heritage USA which boasted a 500-room hotel, shopping mall, convention center, water-amusement park, TV studio and several real-estate developments.

This all came to light after Jim was caught getting biblical with Jessica Hahn and down the empire fell.

She seemed to have remade herself over the years in a self-mocking, campy way.

She even (briefly) did a talk show with Jm J. Bullock that would make your eyes and ears bleed.

She was on Larry King this past week and looked really terrible. She said she only wighed 65 pounds. It was obvious then she was very, very ill and did not have much time.

I've had the documentary THE EYES OF TAMMY FAYE on my Netflix queu for a while but I keep moving it further down the list. Maybe it's time to finally see it.

Yeah, she didn't look so hot on Larry King.  We've already got a fittingly creepy obit up on DG... not a big fan.  Haha.

The gym I go to plays Fox "News" and it mentioned her death.  The closed captions contained quite an amusing error:

"Her doctors say she weighed as little as *675* pounds before her death."

I, and the woman next to me, both laughed out loud.
