I love these Turkish rip-offs so much.  This one wasn't as balls out crazy as, say, Turkish Star Wars or Turkish ET, but it puts a Muslim spin on something so uniquely Catholic.  A lot of the s**t that made Friedkin's Exorcist so scary gets lost in translation and what should be frightening turns out retarded.

actually, there were alot of imitation "Exorcists" out there. Most of which I have not seen. Actually, I'd never seen "The Exorcist" neither. But, one of the better imitations out there was the Italian "The Anti-Christ" w/ Carla Gravina, Mel Ferrer, Arthur Kennedy, Ceorge Coulouris, and Anita Strindberg.

Well, yeah.  And I've seen a bunch f them.  But what makes this one stand out from the pack of other demonic possession exploitation movies of the time is how closely it mirrors William Friedkin's movie.  It's almost as if it were made by someone who came to America, saw it and then tried to piece together their own version based on what they remembered.  95% of this movie took place in the original Exorcist.  This isn't just a movie about someone who gets possessed.  This is a movie about The Exorcist.
