Hello, new here on the forum, though I've known about the site for quite a while.
I was wondering if anyone has seen this movie, and what you thought about it.
To me the whole concept of the main character turning out to be a grenade-throwing
grandma is just fantastic.

See you!

Welcome aboard!

I've watched this one before and it drove me completely nuts.  The Troma-type films are like that with me.  Sometimes, their intentional stupidity and weirdness works, sometimes it doesn't.  Been a long time since I watched it, but I think the bad acting is what drove me to drink.

The Bad Movie Guy recently reviewed this one and he liked it overall:

This film "borrowed" too much from The Warriors.  Basically it is the same plot only with a mad black lady added in which honestly was the only good aspect of the film.

Well this is the first film me and my friends watched for the sole purpose of watching a bad flick. We got some good laughs out of it, specially with Wheels (some standard biker guy that almost got his manhood chopped off) and the surf ninjas, pretty boys and nazis.
Hahaha, I haven't heard of that movie "The Warriors", I might have to check it out with the guys.
Also, anyone's seen "Battletruck" haven't seen it mentioned or reviewed.

See you!

i find that kinda funny that you've never heard of "The Warriors" but you've heard of "Surf Nazi's Must Die" . not in a "oh-my-god-what-the-hell-do-you-mean-you've-never-heard-of-that-movie!" sort of way , just because of the titles. TROMA RULES! (sometimes).

I liked the grandma character, the rest of the movie made me glad I didn't pay to see it, though some of it was kind of funny.
The Warriors, (original, haven't seen the remake) is a good action flick, both the wife and I really enjoyed it, it's well worth a look.

The Warriors is a great film, a true classic from the 70s which still packs the punch it did back then.

Sadly, I've yet to see either The Warriors or Surf Nazis Must Die.  I almost picked up Surf Nazis, but only had limited cashflow, and ended up walking out with Toxic Avenger 4 and another flick.

Both are on my must buy list, so hopefully by the end of the year.

Haha yeah, well maybe I haven't heard of "The warriors" because our basic strategy in movie finding is "Check out the one with the weird name or horrid reviews". "The warriors" doesn't sound so bad compared to... "Surf nazis must die!". And maybe there's the catch that, I don't know why, movies get their titles translated in my country pretty creatively. For example, that movie "Blue Crush" got translated to something like "Wild waves". So that distorts our choices as well.
