Hello all,
Must i say i love the website and reading all the posts here, It has a really great, homey atmosphere, without that smug “i know there bad and still like'em” sarcasm you find on  most of the net.

One question has plagued me though...

There is a movie, that ive seen along time ago, before all the big networks like fox started putting on “quality” programming on my local channels.

It had a melty astronaut. A melty KILLER astronaut...

Apparently, he was on a mission to orbit the sun... something went wrong, and he was doused with enormous amounts of SOLAR RADIATION!

Anyway, supposedly the fella made it back to earth somehow but his bodily composition was altered, causing him to melt- and go MAD!

It was a while ago, i think the plot goes that he walks around stalking people, kills a guy/or boyfriend or two, and then just melts after awhile. Can anyone name that movie? Much appreciated

that would be the very low budget the INCREDIBLE MELTING MAN! The fun make-up and f/x were done by a young Rick Baker!

Welcome aboard, Penny Lizardo.

Ah, the dripping cheese that is "The Incredible Melting Man."  It has a higher shock value than the original version, due to the added gore, but I would definitely suggest seeing the original as well.  That is "First Man Into Space."
