2.) Heart of Gold. I never really liked petunias all that much, and whales are just so naive...  TeddyR Eh, really, I'd probably get along quite well with Marvin, and who wouldn't want to go wherever it is least probable that they would be able to find on a map? I don't think that last phrase makes very good sense, but 42.

See, I think that dealing with the computer would drive me nuts.  Eddy or Eddie, right?  Yeah, I'd go after his logic circuits with a bucket of water.  Salt water.

White Star and Klingon Bird of Prey here.
But then I have always forgone comfort for the seat-of-the-pants damn the torpedoes approach anyway.

I'm sorry, did I break your concentration?

My first choice would be Heart of Gold, it's got lots of room, a computer with a sense of humor, a robot who suffers from depression, sighing doors, and a device in the galley that instantly prepares what ever food or drink you're craving, what's not to like.
On the other hand, if I thought there was a chance of going into battle I'd want the USS Defiant, small, fast, maneuverable, overpowered, overgunned, and you just have to love a warship that has a throttle setting of "RAMMING SPEED".

Out of the ones you names I picked Serenity. I just love the idea of having a small ship that I can travel around in. I would spend the rest of my life wandering from place to place.

My second choice would be Truth and Reconciliation from Halo 2. I always thought that Covenent tech was so much fun plus having the ability to launch hundreds of Banshees at people I don't like.  BounceGiggle

I'll go ahead and bump a slightly out dated thread.

I DO like the White Star.  There's something about that ship that just kicks @$$.  The sleek design just makes it orgasmic.  That's my second choice.

For my first choice, I picked the Argo, from the cartoon Star Blazers.
Theres something about a 20th century naval battle ship outfitted for space with a whole butt load of weapons at it's disposal.  But when things got too hairy or there was a planet that needed moving, they just fired up the ol' Wave Motion gun and let fly.
Problem solved.
Gotta love it.

Give me a ship with some speed and maneuverability.  The Millennium Falcon will be the ship for me, as long as I got a Wookie to back me up.  For the "hit & run", it's the Defiant (I picked the wrong one.  Reliant, Defiant, check on for brain cramp) just for its cloaking action.  Also for a back up when my Falcon is in the shop  TeddyR.
