Not one mention of The X-Files yet?

Damn!

I really feel like that show led this weird wave of government suspicion throughout the 90's.  It also seems like in the early days of the web, every other website was dedicated to either the show or conspiracy theory.

X-Files definitely owes a lot to previous offerings like Kolchak, Quatermass, The Outer Limits (original) and Doctor Who.

Everyone knows that the most influential show is Sesame Street.

Ever.

You know, I find this kind of funny. Does everyone remember the ORIGINAL Buggs bunny and roadrunner show? If yes, then go and watch the re-releases of it. They have edited the be-jebus out of it to remove the violent and racist content. Now I watched those shows religiously as a child and the things they taught me are:
It is funny to drop things on peoples heads (the heavier the better)
Misbehaving children should be disciplined with large fencing boards, preferably with nails in em while yelling SHADDAP!
Dynamite is non-fatal

C'mon! They are airing these shows that are so controversial yet they are editing the shows that most of these complainers grew up on? Just smacks me as a little funny in my opinion BounceGiggle
