I believe that the site is on pause due to revenue problems.  A site like that will use lots of bandwidth (which is expensive) and, I would also guess, royalty payments to the copyright owners of the films.  Supporting the expenses through advertising would be pretty tough.  Possible, but not easily for an independent site.

about royalty payments most of them are in the public domain.
but that makes sense
