Does anyone here play "Trackmania Forever" on the PC? It's free through Steam, I've been playing it for a couple of days and I'm pretty impressed.

Anyone play Counter-Strike? How about Unreal Tournament 2004? I built a bunch of mods for UT2004, PM me if you're interested in any of them. .

Currently trying to get through Metal Slug 3 on no continues.

Here's a guy who pulled off a brilliant speed run of it:

I've also been trying to get through Lightening Force (a.k.a. Thunder Force IV) on the Genesis with no continues.

Man, talk about brutal!   TongueOut  I can do fine up until the last couple of levels.

Here's some footage of this classic shooter.

Haven't played that in YEARS.

Used to love the Genesis.

I've started working through Alien Hominid on the PS2 again. Man that game is hard as hell. I'm going to try to get through it on no continues.

I'm currently replaying "Sniper Elite". It does not look as polished as the first time I played it, but it's nevertheless a pretty much great game. And you gotta love the bullet cam when you finally get to shoot that guy in the nuts from 200 yards.

I'm playing Primal for the PS2 for the second time.  Actually a bit more fun this time, as a big problem with the game is that it often leaves you with no idea of where to go next.  Still kind of dull though.  You've only got one weapon per level, and combat gets pretty darned repetitious.  The few little puzzles are moderately fun though.

"Shaq-fu" for the Megadrive or Super Famicon took lots of flak on its time, but it is a rather decent one on one fighter, and the graphics and animations are nothing short of impressive for its time.

It's awful, the concept is ludicrous and the controls are totally unresponsive. I've only been playing it for a good laugh.

I sort of like it. The graphics alone are worth Shaq's cringe inducing dialogue. As for the controls, I've seen worse. Try "Body Blows" for Amiga or PC if you want to see a completely rotten fighting game.

I'd choose "Shaq-fu" over "Body blows" anytime.

Or Rise of the Robots 2.   TongueOut Man, what an awful, awful game.

I think i've played it years ago, my cousin had it. The worst fighter I have ever played, hands down is "Blood & Iron" on the playstation. It sucked big time.

Oh yeah, god yeah, "Rise Of The Robots", dear me! That was my other cousins favourite game!!!  BounceGiggle
