Man, you guys are crazy. Grand Theft Auto IV was flat out the best game I played all year. That game hijacked my life for a solid month. I can not say enough good things about it.

What am I playing? I just recently beat Force Unleashed, which was fun when it let you run loose. Unfortunately it only does that sporadically, before it starts throwing a bunch of pure crap at you. What good are crazy force powers when every enemy has force resistance? That does even make sense.

I also played my first session of Left 4 Dead, which is crazy fun, and a little too intense for its own good.

Only a month? Vice City took over my life for 4 years. I lived in that game.  TeddyR

Vice city was the best GTA I played. Perfect sized map, nice plot and enough extras.

You can fly sight-seeing helicopters and you can fly military choppers if you unlock 'em (or use the cheat code), but no DS, I don't think there are any planes to be flown.
That seriously turns me off to the game.  Helicopters I find to be way too slow and downright annoying when it comes to maneuverability.  The harrier jet in San Andreas is my most frequent means of transportation.

I hated the map. Far too large and not enough to do.

The 2nd one subtitled Going Commando is my personal favorite of the series so far.

The one for the PS3 was gorgoues to look at but was missing the special gameplay spark that the PS2 games had, particularly the 1st 2.

You know you're getting old when the PS2 qualifies as retro-gaming.  Buggedout

Whatever happenned to the Sega Genesis? Or the C64?
