Just having a wonderful time with Need for Speed Shift.  They issued a patch which fixed the slowdown issues during several races.  It also did other things - two out of the four times I've played it since the patch, it locked up my PS3 so I had to turn the thing off and back on to get it working again.  Last night one race was freezing up (made me miss the required lap time by 1/10th of a second), and then I went to the next race - no sound!  Oh good lord.  Only took them 6 months to come out with this marvelous patch.  I think a couple of unpaid interns programmed it while on spring break.

I'm still working up the ranks on the online Modern Warfare 2 for the PS3. I am SOOOOO hoping they issue a pack of new maps soon. I mean, I'm still finding cool things in the regular set, but the long-timers know EVERYTHING about these maps. It would be nice to be on a level playing field for a while.

Other than that, I downloaded the updating of the NES classic, Bionic Commando. It plays like the original but has fun new graphics. I beat it years ago, but I don't remember anything about it other than enjoying it. I can't even beat the first boss now. I suck as a modern gamer, but then I don't have ALL day to work on them like I used to as a kid or a college student.

I'm currently playing through Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney franchise during this troubling time at my home in order to keep my mind off of things.  It's working well so far...

Finished up Chronicles of Riddick:  Escape from Butcher Bay.  It started out pretty slow and seemed like you weren't doing anything but side quests.  The last third of the game was balls to the wall action though.  Very good game overall.

Started on Resistance Fall of Man last night.  Very cool game.  Also playing Dead Space - I played it a while back and it's one of my favorites of all time, so I thought I'd go through it again.
