You know, I rarely play video games, but I used to. And when I did I was more into PC games of say, 8-12 years ago. I recently found my case of all my old PC games. I popped in and installed the original Medal of Honor: Allied Assault and had a blast going through all the single player scenarios. I used to play MOHAA online as well. I didn't even look into it, but does anybody actually still play MOHAA online? I'll have to pop on and see if anybody does.

Not an online player, but I went thru the MOH game on my PC a few times, as well as the expansions Breakthrough and Spearhead.  I also recently played and have beaten the newer MOH with Tier 1 Ops in Afghanistan. As most of these games go, they're too short but very sweet.

Just about every war has been covered between MOH and COD. I'd like to see a game based on the Korean war, or perhaps, take COD to the Civil War.  There really hasn't been a true Civil War fps save for the short bits in Darkest Of Days and Call Of Juarez: Bound In Blood.

Actually, that concept would be interesting.  I would like to see a good Civil War game.  There have been some with the history channel games but they were poor games.  It would also be nice to see a good WWI but that would be rather hard to pull off.  There would have to be some focus on non normal tactics.  I.E. you would rarely see the trench warfare that was a majority and deal more with storming.  It would be difficult as well but could be interesting in the right hands.  The Korean War would also be a nice vision I agree with you Umaril.  Hmmm, even rarely seen wars would be interesting.  A better game focused on the Legion or a game focused on the Russian Civil War (similar to a WW I but more active.)

I think that would be cool too, but once I start picturing taking a shot and then spending a minute and a half reloading my weapon I think maybe not.

Platinumed The Saboteur last night    Cheers  Great game, really enjoyed it.  Now I've got a week before Shift 2 Unleashed comes out, so maybe I'll give Chronicles of Riddick Escape from Dark Athena a try.  I enjoyed Butcher Bay, so hopefully this has the same vibe to it.

Well, that is a disadvantage but still in the right circumstances could be a bit interesting.  Take heart for once you have fired your single shot, your character being the resourceful kind equipped himself with Daddy's Bowie Knife.

Got Shift 2 yesterday.  My wife actually called me at work to tell me it had been delivered   TeddyR  They said this was going to be a really realistic racing game, well, it seems pretty darned arcadey to me.  Oh well, I'm still having a ton of fun with it.

Also ordered God of War 3 and Uncharted 2 today, so my gaming lineup for the summer is starting to take shape.

God of War 3 looks great, man! I hope to get a PS3 soon.

IMO Wii sucks lol. Gfx = a step back to Gamecube. Twirling

Yes, you go enjoy your other systems that are overrun with shooters and sandboxes games, while I enjoy a console with a nice wide variety of games.

Anyways, I'm currently playing through Pokemon: HeartGold.  Came with a free bonus that is actually useful (aka the Pokewalker).

I played God of War 1 on the PS2 and that was a pretty awesome game.  Can't wait to see what the third one is like.  They've got the first two on a hi-def collection now, it's only $21 at Amazon.  Been meaning to pick that up forever  TeddyR

@InfoGeek, I don't have a PS3 or the Xbox360. I only have the Wii. I do like the Mario games but thats about it. It seems everytime a GOOD/popular game is released its only on PS3, Xbox360 and PC, right? I'll always have a spot for Nintendo in my heart... but lately I can't even stand to boot the Wii up. Just my opinion.

All in all, I'm actually a PC gamer. I hope to get a PS3 soon though.

@Jack, I did play the God of War 3 demo and it was awesome! Blood galore! GFX = 9/10

Castlevania: Rondo of Blood.  I have to say for a side scrolling Castlevania I think I like this one over Castlevania 3.

Castlevania: Lord of Shadows.  Not bad but I'm not liking it as much as some of the others in the series.  It seems off in a way.  Not bad but just doesn't feel like Castlevania.  More like a fantasy game that is being put under the Castlevania banner.

Heavy Rain. It's pretty cool so far but feels surprisingly like a more interactive version of the Sims with a murder mystery thrown in...

I've pretty much been immersed in Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. I think my last saved game shows something like 130 hours of play time. I'm close to maximizing most of my stats, and I didn't cheat for a single one of those. I've also completed most of the large quests except for the "main one."

Haven't even touched the Shimmering Isles.

I don't think this game is healthy for me. Too much free time spent in Cyrodil.
