And no, I don't mean anything involving Keenan Ivory Wayans, either.
You remember how trailers for movies used to be even scarier than the movies they were made for? Myself, I have two particular choices that very
very few have ever come close to.
The first one is for the 1978 thriller (not technically a horror movie, y'see)
Magic, one that I see garnered a few mentions here and there. Just a simple clip of Fats, the featured dummy used by the movie's ventriloquist (Anthony Hopkins) and, staring dead straight into the camera, says four lines that bored into the hearts and souls of every fragile, impressionable child that caught it during the networks' "family hour". Of course, we can't let this one go without a clip. Watch and be horrified again, ya wuss.

Tourist Trap. This one was technically a horror movie, though not really all as good as its trailer would lead you to believe. It
did have Chuck Conners in it but that was as scary as it got. Myself, this one scared the ever-living heck out of me because, hey, I was a very impressionable 13 year-old around that time and it had those black-eyed, screaming...things. Just watch and see.

Fantastic Planet.
