I prefer the Orgazmo-ray (or whatever it's called) myself.

I just voted for RoboCop's rifle. They call it the "Manta gun" in the computer game, can't remember if they ever mentioned this in the movie.

Anyway, it can blow a hanchman's car with one shot, so what else do you need? An stereo? Then watch "Beverly Hills Cop III" and order one of those guns Serge sells.

I chose the lightsaber. I think out of this list it may be the most recognized weapon, sort of a movie icon itself (I wonder if there has been some light/laser/-sword in movies before - must have been I suppose).

Of course I'm aware that a popular and mainstream movie should not get all the claim on a b-movie board.

As I'm a sort of traditional guy my second choice would have been Dirty Harry's colt or something similar.

...hmm, still not really b-movie...

Therefore, last choice would be the thing the guy finds and uses to blow up commercial signs and stuff. However, I think it turned him into an alien or something? Then probably not. Hmmm, ok:

The Desasterous Potato-Peeler From Hell. - I swear I have it here and I'm not afraid to use it!

Yeah, that weapon from Laserblast was pretty cool. I would probably pick that one as well.

For up-close and personal, I had to go with Ash's chainsaw.
Strangely, the rest of my picks were things that you could reach out and touch someone with.

I chose the ZF-1 for the sheer amount of weapons packed into one gun.

The L.O.O.K.E.R. gun is a fictional weapon from the movie Looker.
It stands for Light Ocular-Oriented Kinetic Emotive Responses.

Here's the definition from Cyberpunk review:

"a “light gun” that stuns and paralyzes the target using light. Anyone exposed to this weapon experiences a sort of “missing time” as they stand paralyzed, allowing the weapon’s user to move around, invisible and undetected, for short periods.."

It looks kind of like a futuristic pistol and if you get flashed with it, you won't be able to see the person who flashed you and you literally lose all sense of time.
Thirty minutes could pass and you wouldn't know it.

It really is one of the cooler sci-fi weapons out there.

I really like the golden cross shotgun thing from Constantine.  I just love a weapon you can click together and shoot.

I got to pondering earlier....

I think the LOOKER gun is one of the most ingenious imaginary sci-fi inventions ever created and probably the most powerful weapon on the list.

If it were real, imagine the power you could have by using one of those devices.

Your enemy has to see you to get to you.
And they have to have their eyes open to do it.
With a LOOKER gun, you have the advantage.

Heck, if a big enough LOOKER device were constructed, you could hypnotize entire enemy armies with it!
Just let off one big monster sized flash.
Then our troops could just go in and put them all in flex ties while they stood there "paralyzed".
When they came to, they'd all be in holding cells.

Same goes for the police.
Instead of shooting a suspect with bullets or using a taser that may or may not take them down, the officer could draw his LOOKER gun and flash them.
The perp stands there dazed and gets cuffed.  When he comes to, he's in the back of a police cruiser.

The FDA has been looking for a generic name for Viagra. After careful consideration by a team of government experts, it recently announced that it has settled on the generic name of Mycoxafloppin. Also considered were Mycoxafailin, Mydixadrupin, Mydixarizin, Dixafix, and of course, Ibepokin.

The list is really long already, but something made me think of the rather unique revolver Tom Savini had in From Dusk Til Dawn.
