Nothing big here, I've had two jobs total and am currently not working due to school.  There were first of all McDonalds for a while, then a customer service rep for cendant, that includes 8 hotel brands (Super 8, Ramada, Days Inn, Howard Johnson, Wingate, Knights Inn, Villager, and Travelodge) so if any of you call to complain of a hotel stay in any of these brands you're speaking to people in Aberdeen, SD.

So many people, so many different occupations. As for myself, just been an information specialist for most of my life. Under pressure, I will admit to washing dishes for six months for a restaurant chain which no longer exists, painting buildings for the government for one summer, and spending two summers at one of those all-in-one places.  All while I was in college, and all of which I am trying to forget. Interests: let me see. Just too numerous to mention, but www.badmovies.org is one. As for the rest, that is for another time and place. Enjoy

I think the best job I've had so far has been working at a very primitive Girl Scout day camp.  There's nothing like teaching elementary school children how to sing horrible songs, make shoddy crafts, live in the wilderness, and, most importantly, make fire.  "Anne, can I spray this aerosol bug repellant into this open flame?"  Lessons on poison ivy are always amusing, too.
Child with handful of shiny green vines - "Anne, is this poison ivy?"

So what's the deal Scott, are you writing up a compendium that profiles B-movie fans?  Where you live?  Famous people you've stalked? This one?  What's the deal.

Still, I'm a sucker, I'll play.

My past occupations from earliest:

Telemarketer, straight commission (1 week--I actually lost money)
Culligan man (2 weeks--made money, not much, I sucked)
Grocery store bagger/clerk
Janitor (swab those Johns)
Tuxedo store clerk
Hotel reservationist
Marketing/technical writer (at an electronics co.)
Publications coordinator (aerospace co.)
Communications coordinator/webmaster (health care co.)

Wow!  In a list like that it actually looks like I have made progress in my life.  Thanks, Scott.  I feel better now.

My Interests:

Movies: B-movies, scifi, fantasy, horror, and sfx movies
Books: a little bit of everything, but mostly SF
Web: I'm working on my own movie web site (still under construct)
Writing: I dabble a bit in creative writing, SF/fantasy/horror

Age: 31
Married: Yes
Children: 5 year old boy, 6 mo. old girl (and NO MORE!!!)
Residence: Utah

This is kind of creepy.  Are you going to start stalking me now?

Getting back to basics in my writing, am scraping money together to join the ROMANCE WRITERS of AMERICA - I am going to write full time someday.

Age: 33
Married: Yup, 11 years
Children: Six year old boy
We currently live in the way too expensive SF Bay Area.

Interests:

Writing
Just plain old stuff (being a writer everything fascinates me at one point or another, it's called research).
