Hey folks.  Fan of the site and registered mainly in hopes of finding an answer to this one.

I remember this movie being on Cinemax in the early 90's - not a soft-core porno, just a really stupid movie - about this teenager that lives in something like a hotel or casino that his parents own, which happens to be shaped like a flying saucer at the top, with a female lounge singer that he's got a crush on, and he thinks he's an alien.  The only other thing I can remember is that there's something special about him, but the only way he can use his special-ness (whatever that was), he has to either get laid or get some oral sex, and he ends up with the singer at the end, after she provides the necessary services.

I think that's how it went, but again, haven't seen this in probably 15 years.  If you have any info, please pass it along because this is driving me crazy not knowing what this stupid movie is called.

Thanks!

(Oh, and by the way, my apologies if this has already been answered elsewhere on the site.  I dug around on the forums but I couldn't locate anything that looked like it might be associated with this movie.)

The "teenager thinks he's an alien" part sounds like Doin' Time on Planet Earth, but the rest of the movie doesn't sound similar.  I haven't seen the movie to verify, but it might be worth looking over the IMDb entry.

I'm wondering if this also couldn't be:

My Stepmother is and Alien

or

Dr. Alien

Are you able to remember any other details?  What sort of powers?  Any quirks of some of the other characters?

I know for certain it isn't "My Stepmother Is An Alien," Andrew. "Dr. Alien," which I haven't seen but just from reading about it, that sounds like your best bet.

The description doesn't really match up very well with either of the films I suggested.  More like a fusion of the two (but the hotel is missing).  Mofo Rising's suggestion of "Doin Time on Planet Earth" is one I haven't seen, so maybe that is the one?

The IMDB descriptions of Doin' Time On Planet Earth seem to indicate that MofoRising is correct.  Smile

I watched the first five minutes of Doin' Time on Planet Earth (it's been sitting on my shelf for years), and it's definitely the movie the original poster is thinking of.  I would also have to agree with their assessment of it as "a really stupid movie".

I would finish watching the movie, but don't think I have the intestinal fortitude today (I'm still digesting turkey).
