Ok I know there are a few parents here and I'd think you want your kids to be safe Christmas (yes, I said Christmas) well here is a "Made in the USA" website were the toys are actually safe for kids to play with.
Normally, I'm one to promote products or websites but I don't figure you with kids want them eating lead, poison, date rape drugs, various other chemicals.

I am in no way affiliated with this website or company, just looking out for the kids.

Thanks, these are really good toys. We're trying to avoid the electronic one-track crapola marketing gimmick toys, for at least a while anyway. So these are right up our alley.
Also look at Plan Toys. http://www.plantoys.com/

I love their stuff. Renewable materials and fair trade labor practices.

Well my kids are to old for toys, but when I have time I make simple wooden toys like I had when I was a kid and donate them to Toy's for Tot's, Salvation Army, and other places that collect toys for the needy ... none of them require batteries or that you buy more crap to complete them set.
