Hey! Long time no write. I've mostly been lurking on the site the last 6 months or so, but i still peek in here from time to time.

Anyway, my girlfriend (Whom i've incedently been with for the last 6 months or so... Suddenly my degrading enthusiasm with the internet has an explenation!!!)
told me about a movie she once saw, that she thought was totally awesome.
She couldnt remember the title of it unfortunately, so this is where all of you come in.
I figured if i could present her with a copy of this movie for christmas, i would more or less have to do nothing untill christmas 2008 to keep her happy!  Cheers

So what's it about? Well, this is what she remembers (It's annoying enough to write something based on your own flaky memory, doing it for another person is a whole other deal!)

Well, as far as she remembers, the movie was probably made in the 60'ies or the 70'ies. It was set in the future somewhere, and everybody lived below ground. All humans being had a crystal operated into their arm, that would change colour based on their age. When it turned a certain colour (people got to a certain age), they had to walk into a sort of chamber and be killed, in order to make way for new life. Two people (A man and a woman?) manages to escape, and get to the surface, where they discover that their crystals are now pale, and they don't have to die.

I should also note, that my girlfriend is kind of a sci-fi geek, so it's quite possible that she saw some kind of obscure weird movie at one point.

Thats all she told me!!! I really hope someone can figure this one out, because i'm going to be one lucky guy after christmas, if i can get this for her. (Shows her how much i care, blah blah)

Thank you, and merry christmas from me!

That was absolutely brilliant. I feel kind of ashamed, that i didnt know that myself, since i reccognize the title as a classic, but it's just one of those that i never got around to see.

Anyway... Wow... Quick efficient response i must say!!! Thank you so much  Thumbup

Just to let everyone know, "Logan's Run" is scheduled for a remake for release in 2010. No cast list yet, and while director Bryan Singer was originally scheduled to be the director, it looks like now that director Joseph Kosinski is the director of choice.
