TeddyR Welcome back, Dean: hope you had a good holiday.

The only time I ever see snow is either on my TV or in my fridge.  Buggedout

I have never had a white Christmas, our festive season is warm and sunny, spent outside by the braai (barbecue) and the pool. If we don't have a Weber, we steal one and if we don't have a pool, we use dynamite   Buggedout  and Hey Presto!: one burst waterpipe later, we have a ready made pool.  TeddyR
BounceGiggle You're crazy man.  Love it.   Thumbup  Have a great New Year, too!

Enjoy the break Trevor and best holiday wishes.  I've also never had a white Christmas, in fact it's been a while since I had a Christmas where I didn't wear shorts...
Sunshine for Christmas is GREAT.  Let me tell you guys, if you've lived with snow all of your life, it's overrated!  There is no denying nature's magnificence in all its forms, including the splendor of falling snow, and a landscape blanketed with fresh snow.  However... shoveling it, driving through it, even walking in it, can be arduous, dangerous, tedious... it's cold, it's wet, it's heavy, it quickly soils and looks, well, grimy, it melts and becomes ice...

I dream of retiring to a warm climate, watching the palm trees sway on Christmas Eve, while listening to BING CROSBY sing "Mele Kalikimaka" or the DINNING SISTERS with BOB ATCHER "Christmas Island"
"How'dya like to spend Christmas... on Christmas Island...?"
