Old memory. Stripper, I think in glitter pasties, is attacked by someone, beaten up. Also, there's a scene with one of those New Orleans funeral processions where they play the innapropriate sounding music. I think that was right after the stripper attack, but I'm not sure if it was her funeral or not.

I am wondering if this could be "The Gore Gore Girls."  It definitely has a burlesque dancer being beat up and killed and the New Orleans funeral wouldn't be out of place (I just do not remember the latter being in the film).

No, I should have said that it was probably a late 70s or early 80s movie. I think I probably saw it on cable, back when nudity, violence, and advanced swearage were a bigger part of cable's novelty appeal.

There's a scene in Maniac Cop 2, where a stipper is attacked after she gets back dancing at a club.

It could POSSIBLY be Mardi Gras Massacre. All the new orleans music and themes would fit. Plus its about a cultist who goes around killing strippers and hookers for his ritualistic sacrifices if i remember correctly. Been awhile since ive seen it.
