South African Film Activist and Chief Troublemaker

Something interesting from our archives, from what could claim to be the world's longest running newsreel, the African Mirror, which ran from 1913 ~ 1984, believe it or not.

African Mirror # 1134
Date: March 1961

Description: 500 US Marines stage a mock attack and beach landing on Woodstock Beach, Cape Town.

I trust that those members of the Corps had some free time in that beautiful city after the manoevres were over.  Smile
