I don't even see, in any way shape or form, why a remake is necessary for this film, even for the money.  Hell, I don't even see money as being part of it.  I see this as being released directly into the Wal-Mart $5 dump bin right next to From Justin to Kelly and Gigli.  The only idea that could possibly be worse would be remaking a movie that's only two-years-old. *coughthehostcough*

True enough. It's not that old a movie that it needs to be updated, and it is by no means a classic worthy of reinterpretation.

I actually liked Pretty Woman when it came out.  But I didn't buy into the fantasy of beautiful hooker nabs rich corporate raider guy.

Still, a remake would be very bad.  And Jessica Simpson in the lead role?     She's obviously taking career advice from Britney Spears!
