I personally enjoy watching B-Movies simply cause I can't stand the stuff that's coming out now-a-days. The last "horror" movie I saw in the theaters was Signs, and that was ages ago. I like the fact that a movie can be made with a cheap bugdet and still be good. Granted there's some crap but it's still fun to watch. Movies seem, and are, more real too without all this CGI stuff. I totally lost respect when they remade "House Of Wax"...why remake it? There was nothing wrong with the original...it's an insult!

But yeah, I have the 50 Horror Megapack DVD set as well and I was surprised at some of the gems that came out of there. I really enjoyed "The Bloody Brood" a lot!

Welcome aboard, damnote!

My issue with the remake of "House of Wax" is they just turned it into another quasi "Texas Chainsaw Massacre."  Arrgghhh!  The strength of the original was both an interesting story and the cast.  The remake cannot seem to find either, despite what must have been a larger budget and talent pool.

"We waited 50 years to finally remake this classic horror film and...messed it up."
