I've been looking for this mid to late 80's movie title for years! Ok I don't remember too much of it because I was really young when I saw it (I'm 29 now), the plot was very similar to Robocop but much cheesier. From what I can recall it was about a cop or some sort of army guy who gets almost killed and his wife has his body transformed into a machine/tank type thing that she uses to take revenge on whoever did this to her husband. He starts to remember his former life through flashbacks ala Robocop. I also remember that alot of it was shot in the jungle or outdoors in open fields if that helps. The title may have been something like "The extremites" or something. I know this is very vague but there weren't too many 80's flicks that had this kind of plot other than Robocop. Thanks to anyone that can help

Sounds somewhat like "The Eliminators" which features a character that is part man, part tank. There's actually a review for it here on Badmovies.Org: http://www.badmovies.org/movies/eliminators/
