I watched a newer youtube video uploaded in 240p about the future of technology, yesterday. I don't know if the guy did that on purpose, or he was being ironic. Actually, I don't even know if that's irony and I'm starting to think I've been using that term wrong, a lot.

No, I think you're right to feel that way about technology,  because as we can see, thru the use of modern technology to intrude on peoples' privacy, to all this talk on Capitol Hill about "transparency, accountability, and change", in either case we can agree that
technology, like change, is only good if it benefits society.

Amazon wants $35 for The Exorcist on Blu ray?  Good grief  Lookingup  why not just make it an even $50 while you're at it?

Kalahari.com has it for less than $20 and they ship overseas too.  Smile

That's a good deal! I remember years ago when the Electronics Boutique in our area traded in DVD's. Someone traded in a perfect copy of the ultimate 4-disc edition
of the original Dawn Of The Dead, complete with the comic book and floor plans
of the Monroeville Mall.  I got it for only 14 bucks!  And I still have it too. Now that's a deal!  Cheers

I once saw a heavily abridged version of On The Waterfront called "Should You Tell The Truth?"

If Wishes were horses...
A large portion of the population would be in jail for possession of livestock within city limits.

If Wishes were horses...
The oceans would be replaced...

If Wishes were horses...
The prices of dogfood & glue would drop dramatically.

If Wishes were horses...
Everybody would be asking, "What the *&%$ am I supposed with these horses?"

If Wishes were horses...
People would be wishing something could be done about the overpopulation of horses, thus exacerbating the problem.

In my mind there's something fondly illicit about Kool-Aid. I wasn't allowed to have it as a child (bad for your teeth, I was told) but I used to hang out with this wild and crazy little boy in the neighborhood whose nickname was Tarzan, and his family drank the stuff by the gallon, and when I was at his house in the summertime I'd sometimes partake of Kool-Aid there, usually cherry, sometimes grape, always served in these little white styrofoam cups, and the stuff tasted like Ambrosia, mostly because I knew I was doing something forbidden.

I just thought that comment needed some explanation.  My daughter has chickenpox so I took today and tomorrow off of work.  My wife spent last night and tonight in the hospital because she had a gallstone and just had her gallbladder removed.
