I HATE waking up with eye boogers. Need eye drops to see my way to the bathroom.

Scared the life out of myself once when I was a kid, one time I couldn't open my eyes at all

Flipped the light switch and nothing happened.  I tried a different bulb, and nothing.

So now I have to check and see if the switch itself is broken or if it's the overhead fixture.

... my home is falling apart.  Nobody's got a spare one they could give me, do they?

No offense against Indian people. They love their movies as much us we love ours. IMDb is International and I'm fine with that, but when I search certain releases I always have to add the "Filmed in English Language" filter because the search results would be filled to the brim with countless movies made in India  TeddyR

Hey, Peter Jackson, f**k you!

In a related note, I finally got around to seeing the second (so-called) Hobbit film.

I keep wishing I could get enough people together to make an epic six hour feature of The Harvard Lampoon's "Bored Of The Rings"...

I'd replace the riding sheep with Honda PA50s! TongueOut

I got two spam messages one right after the other - the first for Brazilia dating (Latinas...go south young man...) and the second for male enhancement solutions.

I probably won't be back until Monday or so  Cheers

Every time I tell myself that I'm going to go to bed a little earlier,  so I'm not so tired in the morning-I end up staying up much later than usual.

Had one of those rare "completely silent moments" walking home from work last night (around 11:30 pm). I do live in a quiet neighborhood, but it was so strange hearing absolutely nothing, except for the "noise" I made walking. I stopped several times to just listen, like maybe I could hear some distant car, crickets or something but there was nothing.
It's those little things that amaze, even though the silence didn't last longer than maybe five minutes.

That's cool, on occasion where I live turns into a ghost town practically. Seen it a few times walking back at 3am

I started playing my harmonica but my cat keeps giving me dirty looks.  Like "knock it off with the noise".

That's actually one of the main reasons we moved from Minneapolis to a small town.  Everywhere you go in a big city you can hear the hum of the freeway traffic.  My wife and I took a ride through the country, pulled over to the side of the road, and the only sound you could hear was a single bird chirping about a quarter of a mile away.  A few months later we were no longer living in the city  Smile
