Dropped in at the Christian School Bazaar today.  My husband has now discovered oliebollen.  The man is doomed.

Hmm... so, I'm on Amazon looking at used copies of a CD I'm thinking of buying and I realized I'm going to pay the SAME shipping ($3.99) whether I'm buying from someone in the United States or the United Kingdom.  (I'm in the US, BTW).  You'd think shipping it across the OCEAN would cost a bit more, but I guess not.

Yes.  Thumbup  I lived in Toronto for many years: huge Italian community and some fabulous Italian bakeries.  Sometimes I miss the city.  My current neighbourhood is very rural and has a large Dutch component.

I was walking through a street fair of some kind a while ago and they had fried dough for 5 dollars which seemed a little ridiculous. It's good, but come on it doesn't even have a name.

With it being the Holiday season, I'm sure you've heard the Rudolph the Rednosed Reindeer song or you will soon anyway. 

One thing that gets me about that song. 

It starts off, You know Dasher and Dancer and Prancer and Vixen, Comet and Cupid and Donner and Blitzen, But do you recall The most famous reindeer of all?

How does somebody know who the other reindeer are but NOT know who the most famous one of all is?  Isn't that like know who the Justice League are but not knowing that guy in the bat costume or knowing who KISS is but not remembering that guy with the really long tongue?
