I want to be Ripley when I grow up.

Been working for this company for two years now and I noticed something odd. Most of the younger guys there have developed a gut, even our young boss who now looks like the pillsbury doughboy. Either this is a new trend among young men (some of the guys seem to carry their new gut with pride) or they got impregnated by some alien life form.

Either way: ew.

It is kind of funny about the new gut pride I mentioned. It's like they are all doing the saddle sore walk while pushing out the new extra belly weight  TeddyR

It's an amalgamation that re-tells four of Tolstoy's lesser works all transferred from the 19th century Russian steppe to the modern-day Texas suburbs. Since it's heavy with metaphor, you have to watch it with a keen eye for double-meaning and symbolism. Propane=the winter rye crops; football is the struggle of the serfs, Peggy's large feet represent the Church. Things like that. It gets really deep, I'lltellyawhat.

When did "When the $h!t Hits the Fan" become the term used for any sort of mass disaster?

I keep seeing that ad for Pacific Rim, & I can't help but wonder how that one robot is able to pound his fists together without trashing them.

I wonder just how much of a movie could you re-created just by using image-captures of it that are pasted on the web.  No video clips-just images.

I was about to rant about Internet people still misspelling Steven Spielberg ("Speilberg") and just noticed Urban Dictionary uses "Steven Speilberg" tags.
