ex gf called me out of the blue being all friendly. I was under the impression she had a boyfriend. She maintained that they had broken up last week and he was seeing a girl named Chelsea. I messaged him, there's no Chelsea and they didn't break up. People who lie are weird

Bacon flavor Ritz and can of Easy Cheese, and a game of Minecraft on a friendly server. Life is tolerable.  Smile

Watching women's singles at Wimbledon, drinking a homemade frozen lime slushie, and having the house to myself for a bit. Life ain't bad....

So yesterday there was a Panegyri Festival at a Greek Orthodox Church around town, and there was a performer there who was juggling sharp daggers with flames coming out of tiny little holes near the blades' tips. This is the age of the internet wherein wonders are commonplace, but I must admit, seeing this old man juggle about four burning daggers at the same time was pretty wild.

I'm part Irish and part Scottish, so every once in a while, I have to go outside and kick my own ass.

Went to my first comicon today...
Pervert I am, I checked out some female action figures...
I saw a Blackest Knight Star Sapphire, a Psylocke, & the Femme Fatales collection.

None of 'em did it for me quite like that recalled Jean Grey action figure.

Heh, I collect figures as well. Wanting to make stop motion stuff with them but I digress.

Recalled Jean Grey figure? Never heard anything about that.

The first ones looked like this
http://www.ebay.com/itm/2000-Phoenix-Jean-Grey-6-Movie-Action-Figure-Marvel-X-Men-/231256249071?pt=US_Action_Figures&hash=item35d7f252ef
 TongueOut
Later ones, they added a ponytail & painted over the cleavage
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Marvel-Legends-6-inch-JEAN-GREY-women-of-x-men-movie-series-2000-/321335767327?pt=US_Action_Figures&hash=item4ad11ab11f

I've seen online, a few that had the cleavage painted all the way up to the neck, & one that finally had the jacket zipped up, but I never saw those in stores.

The crazy thing is that the recalled version is the only one I actually remember seeing in stores.

Argh, talk about the Monday from hell.  $250 for a new lawn mower, which I wouldn't have bought if I would have known at the time that it was going to cost $1,150 to completely replace the brake system on my car.  And then for the perfect way to end the day, one of my stocks went down by over $12 a share for a tidy $4,000 loss.

It's like a trifecta of suck.
