Going to the mall may not gave affected his work hours, because the trips could have been after he punched out. I'm sensing a trick question on the teacher's part Wink

That's what I was thinking.

What if Death/The Grimm Reaper had to collect the souls of 99.9% of the germs killed by common household cleaning products?

& if that were the case, what would germs do when the zombie apocalypse hit?
Would there be a war between living germs & undead germs?

I'd hate to be a blade of grass.
Sometimes, I can't help thinking Hell would be getting reincarnated as a blade of grass on a golf course.

I wonder if there would be reincarnation during the zombie apocalypse...

Yeah it doesn't even say how many hours he was at the mall on those 4 days so there's no way you could subtract them from the hours he worked.

I need help with 4th grade math!  My son and I are having a disagreement on the answer to this question.

Benny worked four hours 49 days. He went to the mall four of the days. How many hours did he work in total?

I think its 36 hours and my son says 32.

In my humble opinion this is a trick question:
If he worked 4 hours, 49 days, assuming an 8 hour work day then the answer is 396 hours
if he worked 4 hours, 49 days, assuming an 8 hour work day and took 4 days off to go to the mall the answer is 364 hours
if he worked 4 hours, 49 days, assuming an 8 hour work day and a 50 work day total and took 1 hour a day off for 4 days to go to the mall then the answer is 396 hours
if he worked 4 hours a day for 49 days and also went to the mall the answer is 196 hours
if he worked 4 hours a day for 49 days but took 4 days off to go to the mall the answer is 180 hours
if he worked 4 hours a day at the mall then he only worked 16 hours
If he only worked 4 hours in 49 days regardless whether he went to or worked at the mall then the answer is 4 hours
if he worked the equivalent of 49 days 4 hours the answer is 1180 hours

I find that working for a company that is closing its doors means I have way to much time on my hands.

Me: "How's it going today?"

My Friend Rob: "Actually I'm devastated and depressed."

Me: "Why? Ebola?"

Rob: "No. Worse. I found out Emperor Palpatine's first name is 'Sheev'..."

Gotta admire the man for keeping his sense of perspective about what's personally important to him in life.

I did a delivery to the department of romance languages at one of the local colleges. I had to contain my urge to make passionate love to the secretary.

I have one of those giant plush micbros. It just happens to be Ebola and I've had it for years. Lately I've been throwing it at people and when they catch it I say "You caught Ebola!" Oldly enough not many people think it's funny.

IMHO They're okay alone or on a cracker, but on pizza they really suck.

Pizza was the way I was going to try them but now I think I'll pass.

Yeah, Pizza & Anchovies are good separately, but together, they really clash in a foul way...
