I really seriously, literally, and truly think one of these days I am going to seemingly vanish off the face of the earth, never to be heard from again, or found, and everyone who loves me will never know what my fate was.

Just like the last woman I dated!

Sorry, I didn't mean for that to come out creepy, I just meant the last woman I dated disappeared...

At times I wish I could live like a hermit in a hidden away house but it's just not realistic in this day and age...

My memory slips more these days as I find it harder to remember things such as certain words to describe something or they don't come to mind anywhere near as fast as they once did. I also don't tend to remember details of things I watched in as much detail as I used to...

Wouldn't it be weird if everyone who committed an act of adultery actually did grow horns out of their head?

Okay, so, um...
I've been told to make my 2stroke mix outa Regular, but the premix stuff you get at the hardware store only comes in Premium.
What's up with that?

Life definitely had a keener edge back when I voted Democrat and spent years at a time dwelling in a state of mortal sin.

I love showing people the most expensive products from Autodesk, freaks them out at how much software can go for.
The most expensive one is over $12,000

Ever notice how rarely people in Appalachia are visited by Hindu gods?

Vishnu visited there back in the 1890's and was greeted by a cry of "Shewt him!!!"

They've given the place a wide berth ever since.

(Soapbox mounted.)

We saw the Amy Winehouse movie tonight, and man that was sad. It was not about celebrating a talented, flawed life, it was more about taking unhappy events and packaging them into one long onscreen downer. If the film makers set out to capitalize on tragedy, mission accomplished, they took my money and they'll take other people's too.

We all make mistakes, and Amy Winehouse paid dearly for hers. Can't her legacy be about her music? No wonder her family have been so vocal about opposing this project. Whatever else might be said of her (and much can, I know) she was the most talented singer to come out of London this century, and she deserves more respect than she was given in the maudlin exploitation I just watched.

(Soapbox exited.)

I've never liked the greeting "How do you do?"  Is that even a question or just a statement?  And do they want to know how I do at this moment, or are they inquiring about the overall average of my do-age proficiency?

Two very long days in a row, and a parade this morning (with me driving a float pulled by a 4 wheeler!)

I am so tired.

Why am I awake, anyway?

thinking about how in American Psycho Patrick Bateman would always sheepishly rent Body Double. circa 80's VHS tapes were super expensive, no one bought them

I just exploded over a hundred dollars worth of fireworks in my back yard.
Effectively, I celebrated my nation's independence by sacrificially burning my money.
