Independence day
it's ten minutes to midnight, & the neighbors are playing their subwoofer too loud
i don't think i can get stoned enough to sleep
at least, not without throwing up
I dont wanna throw up
that would defeat the purpose of getting stoned in order to get to sleep

Eh, maybe the neighbors want revenge on me for fixing my weed whacker on a holiday...
But what was I supposed to do?
Three weeks without it, & my yard is starting to look like my face...

I just exploded over a hundred dollars worth of fireworks in my back yard.
Effectively, I celebrated my nation's independence by sacrificially burning my money.

Stalaggh's Projekt Misanthropia is quite spooky, with the vocals being mental asylum people screaming and yelling

My band just went through an instrumentation change yesterday. Given the playing abilities of the two friends who volunteered, it has been decided that I will take vocal and bass duties (with a distorted bass tone). We're also gonna ditch the guitar and have a synth. Thankfully we have a friend who is quite talented at playing the piano. Hopefully she'll be interested in being (for now) a stand in synth player. Maybe if we're lucky she'll be a full time member.

If you squint, the name of the country "Lebanon" kind of looks like "LeBron." They should figure out how to use that as a marketing angle sometime.

Diamond - have you ever heard Lightning Bolt? If you use weird effects you can create a third instrument out of thin air

I was sitting outside fairly late last night, and if I'm not mistaken I think I saw an owl grab a bat out of mid-air.

The new physio I have working on my shoulder seems determined to cause as much pain as possible. After todays session I've nicknamed her my physioterrorist.

I wish one of these militant gay groups we hear so much about would go into an Islamic butcher shop and ask them to cater their wedding. Or ask for a same-sex marriage in a mosque. Fair's fair, spread the equality around. Why should Christian homophobes get all the attention?  TeddyR

I watched "An Idiot Abroad" on travel channel last night it was pretty funny. Ricky Gervais and another guy send this friend of theirs with no appreciation for anything to India for 2 weeks. all he does is complain about how dirty everything is, how different it is from what its used to, and just has a bad time even though he's seeing all this exotic amazing stuff.

I just learned the other day through my drummer that our piano playing friend (her name is Zoe) is actually into the same music we like and is into our band's style. What a relief and how exciting! We have a keyboard player.  Smile

On days like this I recall what my dad said to me as I was walking down the aisle at my wedding: "You can always make him pay child support instead."

Kidding, kidding, kidding...

Yes, that's a funny series.

Kind of glad I sold my Chinese stock yesterday, even though I took a small loss on it.
