The price of obamacare is about to go through the roof, coverage is about to shrivel up, and veterans are being made to give back their paychecks!

Can somebody tell me what's wrong with this picture?

Husband and kids are going out of town with his parents this weekend, and my godson's coming over. I can't seem to pull off a kid-free weekend no matter what, can I? Nah, looking forward to this. He's a sweet kid. Tonight I finally might find someone else who appreciates the 1977 Hobbit cartoon.

I just bought this for my wife from Amazon; we'd not seen it in years, and we both appreciate it.

If it's true what they say, that GOD created us in His image, then why should we not love creating, and why should we not continue to do so, as carefully and ethically as we can, on whatever scale we're capable of?

The choice is simple; refuse to create, and refuse to grow, or build, with care and love.

Why does it seem like when I finally start to feel awake, everything's closed, everyone else is in bed, and suddenly I start craving human interaction?

That's exactly why I'm taking at least a week's "vacation" from it. It's incredible just how petty people can become when they disagree.

Today's handy home tip: Never use Pledge to clean a flight of stairs, esp if you plan on walking up or down said stairs while wearing socks.

I'm 30 minutes into Andy Signorele's "the Janitor" which has been on my netflix queue for 10,000 years. It is maybe the first "serious" bad movie? it's lke really good but really bad I can't describe it right now

I do this: I sometimes wish my life were over but then I think of the fact that there are people I matter to and that maybe I do bring something to this world.

I do this: I sometimes wish my life were over but then I think of the fact that there are people I matter to and that maybe I do bring something to this world.

Indy: I know what you're saying. Sometimes it is like your brain is split down the middle, and the two sides are playing tug-o'-war with neither side winning.

Trevor: You're a good soul. Don't give into the darkness. I keep a promise I made to someone I love very much, and that promise has kept me from letting go this world.

That and I really don't want people digging through my stuff without me there to explain what some of the weirder things are.

It's called an "Inverness cape".  I have seen some on etsy.com for reasonable prices.
