I'm beginning to wonder if BOREDOM would make a good horror movie...

Quite clearly you can not be allowed to leave this site for a week in the future.

I have a mean boss. The other day I was two hours late to work and told him it was because I fell down the stairs. He said, "That doesn't take two hours."

So storm Caroline is incoming tomorrow. Hopefully this won't end up being like the season we had a few years back where it was just a constant series of storms for 3 months. Unless we get floods its nothing too serious, just a pain in the butt walking or cycling to work in high winds. It seems to be people driving cars who come off the worst though for whatever reason.

The sky was a lovely orange/purple shade this morning for sunrise. It settled into a bright red later. Popped out of the office buildings to do some stuff and the air was full of seagulls. I remember seeing that scene from The Birds, only it was the shot above just before they start attacking. Certainly all good signs for an incoming storm.

Seem to have forgotten how to spell today. Was writing a report and tried to spell various with a f, then instead of dismemberment I wrote decomposition (which ok while still technically correct wasn't what I meant to say). And what ever you are thinking about when you are wondering why I was using those works, trust me your imagination has got it as being much more interesting than reality.

Kristi is off visiting her friend Janet today. Janet is a retired psychologist and fevourent hater of Steven Seagal movies. Guess what I've got her for xmas? I'll give you a clue. It's called 'Against the dark'.

I once had a dream many, many years ago where I got into a fight in a night club with Steven Seagal. I was kicking his ass until Dolph Lundgren turned up and he kicked his ass even more. My girlfriend at the time was shocked when I told her in the morning and told me that if I dared to even think bad thoughts about Steven Seagal he'd come round and kick my ass. Seriously, I think that woman couldn't tell the difference between him and Chuck Norris.

Not much work has came in over the past few days to the point where the others started arguing over who would get to send an email out tomorrow reminding three people they have to complete a job in the next five days.

Wonder what will happen when the rest of the office finds out I sent that email this morning instead?

Tuesday December 5, 2017

Saw something incredible today. I was in a car with (my eighteen-year-old cousin) Tyler and his friend Matthew, and we were waiting on their mutual friend Jason to come out of his on-campus tutoring session so we could all go sign some papers together about their business loan for which I’m co-signing.

Matthew’s car was turn of the century vintage, a young college male sort of car, worse for wear, smelled a bit like a clothes hamper on a farm might, and we stopped off at Wendy's beforehand, knowing we had some time to wait, and Matthew was munching him some chicken nuggets from a six-pack, when he dropped one, laden with ranch sauce, wet side down, naturally, onto the driver’s side floor of the vehicle, this crumb-littered, stained expanse of floor matting that had come into this world about the time of the 2000 elections.....and without hesitation Matthew reached down, picked it up, and after giving it a quick blow-off to remove some obvious fuzz, ATE IT.

I froze in disbelief and for a microsecond I felt my gag reflex awaken, but Tyler didn’t say anything.

Sitting at work this afternoon with no work coming in I started daydreaming. One of my mental meanderings took me to imagining doing a D&D game with some of the people here. ER was a bard (because she likes to tell  long stories that keep everyone fascinated), Indianasmith was a cleric (for the religious beliefs), RC was a dwarf barbarian who likes his ale (because he likes his alcohol), Trevor was a rogue with a thing for stealing undies (I have no idea why, but there you go), Boyscout Kevin was a mage (for all the arcane knowledge he possesses) and the Rev was a paladin (because he is the one in charge of the rules).

It kept me amused for about 5 minutes, but it was a total party wipe before anyone got to leave the tavern they started in.

I want to thank you for that, Dark Alex, but tell me, am I white mage, a black mage, or someone in between?

Leaning to white, with a specialisation in Divination.

I fine with that, as long as paladins can drink ale and go wenching in your campaign.

As a child I used to think that Eagles song Lyin' Eyes was Lion Eyes, which seemed cool to me, someone having eyes like a lion's.

Depends on the god, but generally yes you can. Although being a paladin you also have to pay your tab afterwards alas.

What I do love about the replies and messages I've had about this is that no one has actually asked what quest they'd have been on lol.
