Lizzie wasn't all that pretty. She was plain and unpleasant and though her father Andrew was not at all poor, she had no takers in marriage and died an old maid.

For the record, beauty is a double-edged sword when being judged, and that's why defense lawyers generally advise against women on trial wearing makeup and often hair is put up.

Dang it, I keep hearing a random crackling sound coming from my speakers.  I REALLY hope this isn't the beginning of something permanent, as I've already replaced my speakers once and don't really have the money to do it again.

As I mentioned in a previous thread, the Stewart line were not great kings.

So unlucky were they it makes me wonder if one of the early ones didn't maybe run over a witch with their carriage and incur a generational hex.

I swear, me being low maintenance because I didn't get help is looking much better than me trying to get help. Seems like every time I try to do the right thing, life has a way to punch me back down and get into an even deeper hole.
