I got a really nice, unsigned note from one of my students on my desk this morning, letting me know how much my efforts this year were appreciated and how much he/she is looking forward to learning with me next year.
Stuff like that makes all the frustrations of the job worthwhile.

If you are going to call your hotel the 'Firth Hotel', then you really shouldn't use a fancy script that makes it read as if it says 'Filth Hotel'.

I once took a Nerf N Strike Nite Finder & stuck a piece of metal through the ring in the front, connected to a small bunjee cord I had connected to the cocking ring in the back, sort of like a little cross bow....

The neighbors' cats got the message.....

We have "preachers" daily at the Police Monument (very close to our offices) and I wish I could shoot them with something: they are a real nuisance.
