Nobody here mentions the worst of the worst:
Clutch Cargo & Space Angel!!
I'm sure clips exist on YouTube somewhere -- they have everything.
Both series featured non-moving cartoon drawings, static in every respect but for the mouth, which were the mouths of real people . . .
Had to be seen to be believed -- Was current when I was in Kindergarten, so 1960-61 or so.
Plots included ripoffs of The Lost World, so appealed to the dinosaur-lover in us all, but even the dinosaurs were static.
Featured an annoying dog drawing -- can't call it a character --:  A dachshund called Paddlefoot.  Nothing else named here comes close to these anomolies, though I was reminded of Space Angel by the eye-patch wearing guy in the Fantastic Voyage clip here, as Space Angel also sported a eye-patch.

Here ya go...dam creepy too...I recall these..(shudder)...

Video games never make good T.V. shows, which reminds me of this one.
Small | Large

I realize how bad the video quality is, but hey. The show was bad, yet awesome some how...

Ah, Captain Lou's acting career sadly didn't get much farther than that.

Gilligan's Planet-The Professor builds a spaceship and somehow, the castaways land on a deserted planet.  I never saw the cartoon, but wow.  I love Gilligan's Island, but not sure if I'd like this cartoon or the other cartoon based off of it either.

The Brady Kids- People in the '70s must have been on all sorts of like, mushrooms or something.  Again, I like the Brady Bunch, but c'mon.  A cartoon spinoff?

I remember Gilligan's Planet, yet another piece of crap from Filmation. I liked their action series as a kid, including the live action ones (which have good kitsch value when seen now), cheap and repetative as they were. But I hated this show, think it aired on CBS, and liked little that they aired after that, I guess times were changing and the kind of cartoons they were making changed too.

Hated Grape Ape also, more than most HB stuff. You were supposed to side with him since he was an overgrown simpleton who didn't know his own strength. Yet he was constantly making a nuisance of himself, with his little dog buddy to say it was the other person's fault.

Who doesn't love food that fights each other.

How this didn't get mentioned is beyond me. I mean, it's a bad T.V. show based on a bad movie.

Small | Large

And of course this one, which is a bad show, based of a bad remake of a bad movie. So it had to be listed.

I thought the Deanzilla cartoon was actually better than the movie it was based on. And I got a kick out of the way they also based it on the old Godzilla cartoon with the scientists on a boat.

The old cartoon suffered from the same thing most of them do. They're adapting material that isn't all that suitable for a weekly cartoon. So they write an entirely new show around familiar characters, throw in the obligatory comic relief animal and we all go "WTF?"

And what's the deal with the animals? Did anybody like Godzookie? Or Mr. Cool? Or Squealy the Pig? Or Mork's stupid alien dog? I hated them all, and I don't remember any of my friends liking any of them either. Yet somebody obviously felt they were essential.

Ah Galaxy Trio - I remember them well - they could do "anything" - we used to watch this in college, pick a character, and play drinking games.  Yeah forgot about Gozilla and Godzooki; I used to watch that back in first grade I think.

More bad bad cartoons; shirt tales, snorks, Blue Falcon and Wonder Mutt, Flinstone Kids Just Say No Special, Top Cat, the Hair Bear Bunch, Turbo (kid could turn into a car), Gobots, Bravestar(?), and Centurians.

Y'all are just making a brother go back in the days.  There also a time when channel 9 (in NY) had some cartoons as well.  One that I remember was Sky Surfers.  I remember one of the surfers had one of the coolest names ever: Crazy Stunts.

Some others off the top of my head (some probably have been mentioned before)

Galaxy High
King Arthur and The Knights of Justice
Big Foot
Dinosaucers
Spiral Zone
Inhumanoids
Muppet Babies
Turbo Teen
Zoltan
C.O.P.S, a.k.a. Cyber C.O.P.S. ("It's Crime Fighting Times)

Wasn't there a time in the early 80's where cartoons were based on Atari games like Donkey Kong, Frogger, and Q-bert?

The cartoons I don't like was Spider-Man on FOX for being too "kid friendly" and a show called "Skeleton Warriors"

I wouldn't say that Muppet Babies is a bad cartoon, but that's my opinion.

Here's one though:

ALF Tales.  Basically it's a spinoff of a spinoff.  ALF spun off into a cartoon called ALF: The Animated Series, then they spun that off to ALF Tales, which was basically Alf and his cartoon pals in fairy tale stories.

There was a Donkey Kong in the mid to late 90's, 3-D and not too good.

I think I remember from my early childhood watching both a Mask and Ace Ventura cartoon, Ghostbusters also.  All of these were great movies that were cut down!!!   I used to love Beetlegeuce (is that how it's spelled???)

Ghostbusters was a great spinoff cartoon, in my opinion.  And yes, there was a Mask and Ace cartoon, even a Dumb and Dumber one.  I hated the Dumb and Dumber cartoon.  The movie is classic, but the cartoon sucked.
